Harry at ‘War’ with Camilla Over Her Effort to ‘Derail’ His Last ‘Possible Reunion’ with Charles Amid His Dad’s ‘Declining Health’—He’s ‘Fuming’
Reports about Prince Harry for the past year or so have focused on his desire to reconcile with his family, particularly his father. Ever since King Charles’ cancer was disclosed, the rumors were that Harry wanted to meet with his father. In September of 2025, he did. And though reportedly they kept in touch, there hasn’t been another face-to-face meeting.
That is, perhaps, about to change. Rob Shuter recently reported that everyone’s trying to make it happen at the end of April, when the King visits the US. And it would not just be a meeting between father and son, as Harry is eager to bring his kids. However, there’s an obstacle: Queen Camilla.

A source close to Harry told RadarOnline, “Harry feels like he is at war with Camilla again, and he believes it could completely derail any chance of repairing things with his father.” The source also added, “he sees her as a major obstacle, and these latest claims have only reinforced his view that she has been working against him behind the scenes.
“This claim has reopened old wounds in a very serious way – he is fuming, and he feels this situation risks pushing any possible reunion with Charles further out of reach.”
Harry previously addressed his complicated relationship with Queen Camilla in his memoir, Spare. In the book he suggested that Camilla’s efforts to reshape her public image after her marriage to Charles could have contributed to negative media coverage about him and Meghan.
Nevertheless, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have rejected the claims made in Bower’s book, even referring to it as a “deranged conspiracy.” But there’s still concerns about how these things being discussed again could affect a possible reconciliation.
“He wants to bring the children,” one insider told Shuter about the possible reunion. “This isn’t just about him — it’s about reconnecting as a family.” And though things are reportedly not set in stone, everyone involved is trying to make it happen.
“They’re working on the logistics now,” the source said. “It would be completely private and off the official schedule.”
All of this comes after RadarOnline reported that the King is planning to abdicate soon. “King Charles is going to step down. He is going to abdicate, and they are going to use the excuse of his health, which has been declining because [the situation with Andrew] has been very stressful and almost too much for him to bear,” a royal insider said.
Prince William and Kate Middleton will also join King Charles in the US for the upcoming state visit, but there seem to be no plans for the brothers to meet. For now, any possible reconciliation will involve only father and son.
“While Charles is hoping to mend his relationship with Harry, William wants no part of it. And that’s likely never going to change,” RadarOnline’s source said.
